BOW CPVC FlowGuard Gold® tubing and fittings are manufactured to ASTM Standard D2846 (Standard Specification for Chlorinated Poly(Vinyl Chloride) (CPVC) Plastic Hot- and Cold Water Distribution Systems) and CSA Standard B137.6 (CPVC Pipe, Tubing, and Fittings for Hot and Cold Water Distribution Systems).

  • Used to permanently or temporarily cap CPVC tubing
  • Most often used on conjunction with short lengths of CPVC tubing to fabricate water hammer arrestors (air chambers) in the CPVC system
