What renovation services does Atkinson Home Hardware offer in Kingston?
Fourteen in total. Inside the home: kitchen, bathroom and basement renovations, additions, flooring, and windows and doors. Outside: decks, sheds, fences, siding, roofing, insulation, outbuildings and concrete work. Each one has its own page with the process, photos and a consultation form.
Do you handle the design, the materials and the installation?
Yes, that is the point of the department. The design team plans the project, the materials come from our own building centre and suppliers, and our crews and licensed trades handle the installation. One quote, one point of contact, no chasing separate companies.
Do you only take on projects in Kingston?
The design department is based at our Kingston store, and most of our projects are in Kingston and the surrounding communities across Frontenac County. If you are nearby but outside the city, book a consultation and we will confirm your project is a fit.
How do I get a quote?
Book a free consultation first, by form or by phone. From there we measure, settle the scope and selections, and prepare an itemized quote. Everything up to that point is free and there is no commitment until you approve the project.
Can I buy the materials without the installation?
Of course. We are a building centre first, so you can buy everything from lumber to fixtures and do the work yourself. Contractors can also set up a builder account with monthly price lists through our pro counter.
Is the work under warranty?
Yes. Projects completed through the design department carry a 3-year warranty covering both materials and installation, handled by us locally rather than a distant manufacturer.
